Akeelah Williams, a beloved sister, mother, and member of the Milwaukee community, passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 27. Born on January 17, 1995, Akeelah was known for her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter. She was a passionate advocate for social justice and dedicated her life to helping others. Akeelah's kindness and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on the world around her. She will be dearly missed by her friends, colleagues, and all those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Rest in peace, Akeelah.
