Al (Alvin) Dyne, 62 of Centerville Pa., passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on January 13, 1955 in Union City, Pa., to the late Alva & Martha (Hanby) Dyne. Al went to school in Spartansburg, Pa., where he lived all his life. He worked various jobs in the oil field for many years. His most recent job was with Russell Standard where he retired in 2011. He enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting, and being with family and friends. Al is survived by four sons, Free (Michelle Smith) Dyne, of Westmoreland, Tennessee, Josh (Marcelle) Dyne, of Corry, Sam (Missy) Dyne, of Spartansburg, Ben (Lindsay) Dyne of Spartansburg; nine grandchildren, Veda, Kessli, Lucas, Haylee, Alex, Jameson, Jackson, Sadye, and Shawntel; a sister, Crystal (Dan) Jackson of Uniontown, Pa.; and a brother Thomas (Edith) Dyne of Midway Park North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his parents, a stepsister Doris Kraft, and two stepbrothers, Raymond & Ernie Dyne. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City PA 16438. A funeral service will follow immediately after hours at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Loomis Cemetery.
