It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alan Rogers-Jackson, beloved husband, father, and friend. Alan was born on September 1, 1968, in Bridgeport , Connecticut, United States, to Rufus Rogers and Olivia Vereen Lewis.

Alan also leaves behind the love of his life, Ellisha Armour, in the 19th years they cherish with one another and together they raised two beautiful children: Alajahia Jackson, and Alan J Jackson Jr. Also Alan leaves behind a Son Markel Chestnut from a past relationship. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Alan was a loving father and a beloved brother as well to his siblings who were love dearly. His sister Pastor Vivian Vereen Brothers Barry Jackson, Anthony Roger’s-Jackson Billy Lewis. Sister in Law (Kandra Lewis) Alan also leaves behind His Grandmother Luecell VerrenWho Alan always told wonderful stories about her how she can light up the room and get the crowd going with that uplifting voice she has. Alan always loved how his grandma can make her famous Sweet Potato Pies he would always say hunny I love your cooking and you are one of the best but mama got the best sweet potato pies ever you not winning with her. Alan was a very loved nephew to his aunties and uncles and cousins he leaves a host of them who he cherish so much.

Alan attended Conway High School and excelled in his studies. , he pursued a career in construction were he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his brother and uncles who were in that field. Alan always talked and laughed about how his family was the best tapers/ Contractors in the state. That was my Alan he knew his stuff when it came to his trade. And Alan worked diligently until his early retirement due to his health in 2017. Alan's dedication to his work and his strong work ethic earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers.

Everyone who knew Aj they knew he was a big Dallls Cowboy fan you couldn’t tell him anything about his team I remember every year I would get him the cake for his birthday and throw the cowboy's them parties all the time Alan enjoyed his Football he was a huge laker fan as well. The love he had was for the cowboys more. He would wake me up saying How about them Cowboys Hunny all I can do is laugh and tell him maybe next year they’ll win. I have so many great memories of Alan it’s not enough time to tell them.

Alan's kindness, humor, and warm spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. Although his passing leaves a void in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing that his memory will live on in the hearts of those who love him.

Rest in peace, Alan Rogers-Jackson. Your legacy will endure forever.
