Albert Phillips, born on March 21, 1955, and left this world on October 6, 2017, in Marion, South Carolina. He was the son of Hoyt and Odessa Phillips, and he is survived by his five children: Bandi, Charlene, Kevin, Linwood, and Jeremy and grandchildren: Donniesha Phillips, Vinniesha Phillips, Vahana Godbolt, Vashod Phillips, Vincent Godbolt.
Albert was a proud graduate of Marion High School, class of 1973. After school, he served his country in the United States Army before eventually finding his way to the Coca Cola Bottling Company, where he worked until his retirement in 2013.
Albert was known for his quick wit and infectious laugh. He had a way of making everyone around him smile, whether it was through a joke or a kind gesture. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
While Albert may be gone, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, Albert, and may you always be surrounded by laughter and love.
