Albert "Al" W. LaRose, 76 of Yuma, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 29, 2009. He was born on March 23, 1933 to Wilfred and Myrtle LaRose. Al joined the U.S. Air Force in 1952 after he graduated. He served in many duty stations including France where he met and married his wife Marlene of 54 years. Al retired from the U.S. Air Force at Hawaii in 1972 and the couple moved to Yuma, Arizona where he retired a second time as manager for the State Compensation. Al is survived by his wife Marlene at the family home; son, Thomas of Yuma; daughters, Shelley (Jon) Paulk of Houston, Texas, Rhonda LaRose of Yuma and Deedy (David) Dunphy of Yuma; granddaughter, Kari LaRose; Grandsons, Jonathan and James Paulk of Houston, Texas and Steven LaRose of Yuma; four great-grandchildren in Houston and Sister, Bea Cowger of Pocatello, Idaho. Al is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas, Kenny and James LaRose and Sister, Lorraine LaRose. Memorial Service will be at Sunset Vista Funeral Home on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Don Fugate.
