Alberta Brigham, 77, of Katy, Texas, passed Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Alberta was born to James and Clarissa Corson, August 28, 1941 in Mahaffey, Pennsylvania.

Alberta was raised in Mahaffey, Pennsylvania until 1958 when she moved to Casper, Wyoming where she met and married Leslie Brigham later that same year. They lived happily together for 35 years and raised 4 children, living in various places including, Wyoming, California, Alaska, Louisiana and finally in Edmond, Oklahoma. Her last years were spent in Katy, Texas. Alberta was a homemaker, a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She grew-up as one of ten siblings raised by amazing parents. Her father was a Church of Christ preacher, both he and her mother spent their lives sharing their faith and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Alberta is survived by 4 children: Leslie Brigham Jr (Vicky Brigham) of Katy, Texas, Cindy Skinner of Madison, Alabama, Holly Ballard of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and Mark Brigham (Karen Brigham) of Edmond, Oklahoma. She also is survived by 9 grandchildren, Michael, Thomas, Cynthia, Joshua, Brian, Davyd, Daynah, Kyle and Rachel, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Alice Bartels of Moore, Oklahoma and 2 brothers, Jack Corson of Williamsburg, Pennsylvania and Tom Corson of Casper, Wyoming.
