She was born on October 29, 1954 to Millie Thompson and the late Otis Thompson in York County.She leaves to cherish her fond memories her mother, Millie Thompson, Rock Hill, SC; daughters, Kimberly Thompson, and Donna Thompson both of Rock Hill, SC; sisters, Odessa T. Peterson, Alice T. (Willie) Peterson, Mary Ann T. Lowry, brother, Charles A. McGriff; 2 daughters she reared, Felicia Cook, and Kenyata Gregory; 4 grandchildren, Lachell Thompson, Brittnay Thompson, Freddie Thompson, Tyresha Thompson; she raised Alicia Cook, Kisha Cook, Brittnay Rhinehart, Heaven Luckett, D'nique Gregory, Ky'Ania Gregory, Destinee Poage, Daisha Poage, she had 9 great-grands, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special life time friend, Thelmore Hinton.Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 6 to 8pm at Parker Funeral Home.Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 6 at Weeping Mary Baptist Church 1996 Eastview Road, Rock Hill, SC.Burial will be at church cemetery.Parker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
