Jul 09, 2007 - Jan 22, 2017

This obituary is administered by:
Olmsted, AlexAlex Keith Olmsted, age 9, of Clintonville passed away on Sunday morning, January 22, 2017 in the Town of Clinton, Barron County, Wisconsin, from injuries sustained in a Milk Truck accident while riding along with his father Jerry.Alex was born on July 8, 2007 at New London Medical Center to Jerald and Lisa (Moeller) Olmsted. He attended Pre-K and Kindergarten at St. Rose/St. Mary's School and was currently in 4th grade at Rexford / Longfellow Elementary School. Alex liked the Running Club at school more for the socializing then the running many times. He is currently a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Bear Creek, and still has strong ties to St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a bright and intelligent young man who dreamed of one day joining the family business, Keith R. Olmsted & Sons of Bear Creek. Alex liked to ride in the truck with his dad or grandpa Moeller when they went on their milk route. If his school work was completed, Alex would be allowed to tag along, and he could always identify makes and models of trucks on the road with ease. One relative said that Alex was so responsible and dedicated to helping out that he was like a 50 year man trapped in a 9 year old body. Alex enjoyed playing with his trucks and tractors, cutting the grass with the riding lawn mower, and playing on the soccer team. Alex will be remembered most for his wonderful sense of humor and his hearty laugh.Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Lisa; one brother, Aaron (Melissa) Huebner of Clintonville; and two sisters, Emily (fiancé Tony Knuth) Huebner of Fremont and Olivia Olmsted of Clintonville.
