Alexander Bealton, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and Marine General, passed away on February 2, 2024, in Winchester, Virginia, United States. He was born on October 30, 1927, to Lerona Bealton.
Alexander married the love of his life, Margaret "Peggy" Jennings, in 1951, and together they had nine children: Alexandra Jr., Rebecca, Susan, Johnson, Ronald, Eleanor, Gerald, Pamela, and Diana. He was also a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren.
Alexander dedicated his life to serving his country, first as a Marine Biologist and later as a General in the Marines. He retired in 1997 after a long and distinguished career.
Outside of his military service, Alexander had a passion for collecting train figurines. He spent countless hours meticulously organizing and displaying his collection, sharing his love for trains with his family and friends.
Preston and Sons Funeral Home of Winchester is serving the Bealton Family. Arrangements are being arranged by Funeral Director Linda Basil.
Alexander Bealton leaves behind a legacy of honor, dedication, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
