We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Alexander Junior Ward, who was born on March 31st, 1943, in Marietta, Ohio, United States. Alexander passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 81.

Alexander was the beloved son of the late Mark and Lea Ward. He was married to his loving spouse, Jenna Ward, in 1962. Together, they raised three children: Chis Ward (spouse Amy Ward), Samuel Ward (spouse Maxie Ward), and James Ward (spouse Amanda Ward).

After graduating from Marietta High School in 1962, Alex went on to work at various construction jobs until his retirement in 2000. He was a dedicated employee and will be remembered for his hard work and commitment to his job.

Alex leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family, including his 6 beloved grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends will be received at the Marquee Funeral Home, Marietta, Ohio, Tuesday, June 25 from 12pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm with Pastor Mark Kingston officiating.
