ALFRED EUGENE GEORGE “AL”, was born November 17, 1954, in New York, NY to Eugene and Daisy George. Alfred entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 9, 2019, where he joined his father, the late Eugene George; two sisters, Glory Ann Griffin and Cynthia Campbell and nephew, the late Gregory Vincent Campbell and his soulmate Lydia.
Alfred was full of life with a smile of gold who loved his family. His favorite line was “Imma be alright – believe that, believe that”.His smile could light up any room when he entered.
Alfred was such a strong man who was a fighter. No matter what life threw at him because of his faith and determination to overcome all challenges he was a conqueror. He was a man who loved his family wholeheartedly. His mother was his entire world she was his pride and joy.
Like all of us, his human imperfections were just a small part of who Alfred was, He loved his family and all sports. He enjoyed his old fashioned movies and reading.
Alfred’s memories will forever be etched in the hearts of his a loving and devoted mother, Daisy George; his sister, Shirley Cook, and brother, Kevin George, 6 nieces, and one of which he often referred to as daughter Tanya Wilson, 4 nephews and a host of loving and devoted aunts, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
