Alfred Smith, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 21, 2024, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He was born on January 22, 1952, to Randolph and Mamie Smith.

Alfred is survived by his loving childen Regina Wright, Alfreda Wright, Randy Wright, and Craig Wright. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also leaves behind two sisters Odellsie Smith and Frances Mickens (Roger Mickens) and two brothers Roger Smith (Roberteen Smith) Chestine Smith.

Alfred attended Caroline High School and later pursued a career as a construction worker. When he wasn't hard at work, Alfred enjoyed drag racing and playing cards with friends and family.

Alfred will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love for his family, and his adventurous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
