Alice Christina Bono, 95Hartford City - Alice Christina Bono, 95, passed away at 8:26 a.m. February 2, 2017 at The Woodlands in Muncie, IN.She was born on January 4, 1922 in Lynn, Indiana to Vernie Keys and Hazel (Retz) Keys. Both parents precede her in death. She graduated from Winchester High School in 1940.Alice married Raymond "Ray" E. Bono on February 11, 1946 in Vincennes at St. Francis Cathedral Roman Catholic Church. He precedes her in death on March 24, 1982.She was a sales lady at Jack and Jill Clothing Store and a manager of Miller and Jones Shoe Store both located in Hartford City. In 1941 she ran the Morris 5 & 10 Store in Winchester and in 1944 she had ran the Morris 5 & 10 Store in New Castle.Alice attended Trinity United Methodist Church. She was also a 60 plus year member of Delta Thata Tau Sorority. She belonged to the Euchre Club and Business Professional Woman, where she had formerly been President. She also formerly bowled on the Friday Morning Bowling League. She loved playing cards and dance when she was younger.Alice will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kenna R. (husband, James "Jim") Bradfield of Muncie; grandchildren, Amanda L. (husband, Lucas) Pozenel of Marysville, OH; Jason R. Bradfield of Hartford City; Danielle R. (husband, Craig) Tweedy of Clovis, CA; great-grandchild, Jacob Pozenel and one great-granddaughter on the way; several nieces and nephews.She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Keys and Richard Keys.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 North High Street, Hartford City with Rev. Lloyd Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.Visitation will be from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Keplinger Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Blackford County, P.O.
