Alice Louise Crowley (Baker, Bruders) age 74, of Raytown, Missouri passed away on November 1st, 2016, at the Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation will be held at the Whitten Community Church, 812 Irwin St, Whitten, IA 50269 on Monday, November 7, 2016, from 5 to 7:30. Memorial Service will be held at Whitten Community Church, Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at 10:30am. Memorials can be made to Kansas City Hospice in honor of Alice. Alice Louise Baker was born on December 7, 1941, in Eldora, Iowa, she was the daughter of Wilber and Jennette ( Moore) Baker. She attended school in the Whitten Community School District graduating with the class of 1960. On June 28, 1988, Alice was united in marriage to Gerald Crowley in Kansas City, Missouri and they had resided in Raytown, Missouri. Alice had been the manager of Miners Sunfresh Bakery before her retirement. Alice loved gardening, baking and being Bonka to her 21 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. Alice is survived by husband of 28 years, Gerald Crowley, sons, Robert Bruders Jr. (Karen), Michael Bruders (Marcie), Brian Bruders (Kim), Sandra Larsen, Andy Crowley (Danielle), Dan Crowley (Kari), Mary Lopes (George). Alice was known as Bonka to her 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers Mervin Baker of Grundy Center, David Baker of Ames, sisters Joylyn Stoehr of Eldora and Linda Farkas of Iowa City. Alice is preceded in death by parents Wilbur and Jeanette Baker and first husband Robert Bruders Sr. Alice was born and raised in Eldora, IA moving to Kansas City, KS in 1961.
