ANGOLA — Alice Shultz, 80, passed away at home Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born on Sept. 20, 1935, in Bronson, Michigan, to the late Glenn and Belle (Smith) Graham. Alice attended the Bronson and Orland schools. She worked at Elmhurst and Cameron hospitals for 12 years and retired driving school bus for Prairie Heights with 17 years of service. She was a member at the Orland American Legion Post 423 and past member of the Angola Moose and Lake Gage Ladies Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years on July 4, 2015. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also liked gardening, canning and Monday night football. She was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need and always had a loving smile for everyone she met. She will be missed by all that knew her. Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Miller (Mark Buckmaster) and Sue Buehrer (Clarence Hartley), all of Angola; one son, Jim Shultz, also of Angola; three grandsons, Michael (Carrie) Drew, Matthew Drew and Mitchell Buehrer; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord; an infant daughter, Ursula Jo; a brother, Alvard Graham; and two sisters, Leona Divine and Betty Shank. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home in Angola.
