Alice WrightJuly 25, 1925 - October 15, 2015Alice Wright passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2015. She was born on July 25, 1925 in Thatcher, Idaho to David Oliver Barthlome and Lucille Hendricks Pond. She spent her early life with two sisters and four brothers attending Thatcher Elementary and high school. She married her high school sweetheart, Maurice Wright, and together had seven children. The family moved to Pocatello, Idaho where she continued to raise her family and work in several department stores.Alice was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in various callings within the Primary and Relief Society. Alice enjoyed singing, crocheting, knitting, making ceramics and sewing.Her family wishes to thank all those at Quail Ridge Assisted Living, Access Home Health & Hospice and Quinn Meadows for all their compassionate care.Alice is survived by: her children, Sue (Terry) Griffin of Newton, UT; Bette (Tom) Bloxham of Pocatello; Craig (Kate) Wright of Pocatello; Vickie Rupp of Pleasant Grove, UT; Nancy Pieper-Cope (Stan Cope) of Pocatello; 23 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Maurice Wright; four brothers, a sister; a son and daughter; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday October 20th 2015 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. A viewing will be held an hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow services on Tuesday at the Thatcher Cemetery in Thatcher, Idaho.
