A Life Well Lived

Allen Bruce Crotts of Star, North Carolina, passed away on November 28, 2024 at the age of 58. He was born on March 30, 1966, to his parents Doris Keeling and Nicholas Crotts in Monticella, Florida.

All who knew Bruce will remember him for his many talents and various trades. From tree work to construction, plumbing to electrical, there was nothing he couldn't do! His work ethic was matched only by his sense of humor and infectious personality.

But Bruce was more than just a hard worker. He had a zest for life that was contagious! He loved a cold beer, the thrill of fishing, the peace of camping, and the tranquility of being on the river. Despite his rough exterior, Bruce had a heart of gold. He was known for his kindness and unwavering support for his family and friends. Allen Bruce Crotts was a true force of nature, but his memory will live on through the people who loved him.

Bruce is survived by his two children, Stephanie Wychunas and James Kearns; sisters Beth Crotts, Anna Gauldin and Jolene Keeling; brothers Tony Manring and Jeremy Keeling; 7 grandchildren, along with several loving nieces, nephews and cousins. All of whom brought him so much joy and laughter.

There will be a gathering for family and friends on Saturday, December 14th at 2809 Orlendo Drive in Asheboro from 2 to 4pm. Send any flowers to the address listed and please come as we say goodbye to Bruce. May we always cherish the memories we have with him; from his sarcasm, his love for a cold beer, to his unwavering love for his family and friends.

You can to the family or in memory of Allen Crotts.
