WINDSOR Allen "Jack" G. Snyder, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, at Manor Care - Dallastown. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to G. Pauline (Graham) Snyder. Mr. Snyder was born on August 17, 1924, in York, and was the son of the late Alice (Ostendorf) Snyder. Jack worked for D.E. Stetler in the body shop and later for Apple Ford. He was a member of the Red Lion Bible Church. He enjoyed watching old western movies and listening to country music. In addition to his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Wolf; and his sister, Veronica Snyder. A viewing will be held at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, on Sunday, December 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service to honor Jack's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 29, at the Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Road, Red Lion, with Pastor Steven Schmuck officiating, with a viewing one hour before the start of the service. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Stonepile Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack's name can be made to Red Lion Bible Church.
