Allen "Al" L. Casey, 81Indianapolis - Allen "Al" L. Casey, 81, passed away early Wednesday morning at the Arlington Place Health Care Campus following an extended illness. He was born on October 4, 1935, in Muncie, the son of Clarence and Ica (Stouder) Casey.Allen is a 1953 graduate of Muncie Central high school and later married the love of his life, Rebecca J. (Godfrey) Casey, on April 22, 1962; she preceded him in death on February 22, 2012.  Mr. Casey had proudly served the United States Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars as a jet engine mechanic.  He retired from General Motors in Anderson; he also worked as an electrician for Boxel Signs and owned his own business known as A.J. Electric.  Mr. Casey was a member of the United Auto Workers Union, Yorktown United Methodist Church and formerly a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church.  In his spare time, he enjoyed doing woodworking.  It was said that "he was quite the Handyman!"Survivors include two daughters, Pamela J. Casey and Michelle (Casey) Ayers (husband-Craig), Muncie; two grandchildren, Ryan and Dylan Ayers; his beloved dog Chloe.Besides his wife of 50 years, Rebecca, he is preceded in death by his parents, one step brother, John Casey; sister, Wanda Molher; two nephews, Billy Dean Molher and Chuck Molher.Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017, 12:00 p.m. at the Yorktown United Methodist Church 2301 S.
