Allie Von Adkins Stidhams of Lansing died on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at her home. She was 89.
Mrs. Stidhams was born on March 22, 1925 in Logan County, W.Va. to Everett and Della Dean Adkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel Wesley Stidhams; daughter, Connie Lee Stidhams; grandchild, John Wesley Miller; three brothers, Jasper Adkins, Ollie Adkins, Denver Adkins and three sisters, Delma Dyer, Myrtle Brumfield, and Edna Toney.
Mrs. Stidhams was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. She enjoyed horseback riding, camping and babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 28, 2014, at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel and Gardens by the Rev. Bluferd Eldreth and the Rev. Ronda Rash. Burial followed in the Taylor Cemetery.

Mrs. Stidhams is survived by one son, Roger Stidhams and wife Ruth of Lansing and three daughters, Donna Hensley and husband Michael of Whitetop, Va., Norma Miller of Lansing, Patsy Woodie and husband Larry of Lansing; one brother, Everett Adkins, Jr. of Hamlin, W.Va. and two sisters, Mildred Parsons and Martha Courts, both of Branchland, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Tony Miller of Lansing, Greta Dunn of Warrensville, Heather Stidhams of Lansing, Brittany Gilbert of Jefferson; four great-grandchildren, Austin Clark of Warrensville, Samantha Miller of Lansing, Zac Miller of Lansing and Haley Miller of Lansing; and several nieces and nephews.
