Alma Curtsinger, 76, of Bardstown, died Friday, April 24, 2015, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born on Sept. 6, 1938, in Bloomfield to the late Milton, Sr., and Eva Frances King Richardson. She was a former employee of Bardstown Board of Education as a custodian for 15 years, a homemaker and a member of Nelson County Baptist Church. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Ronnie Curtsinger; and brothers, Till Richardson, Buckie Richardson, Herbert Richardson and Dub Richardson.Survivors include three daughters, Rita Cecil and June Spalding, both of New Haven, and Eva Reid, of Georgetown; three sons, Donald Curtsinger, of Louisville, Jimmy Curtsinger, of Cox's Creek, and Jamie Curtsinger, of Bardstown; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great- grandchildren; and three sisters, Alice Gelhaus, of Louisville, and Jean Humphrey and Emma Harrison, both of Jeffersontown.The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Brother Darrell Goodlett officiating. Burial will be in Cox's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
