Alpha Byrd of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 62. She was born on February 22, 1962, to his loving parents George Byrd and Sunday Young.
Alpha is survived by her son Blaire Nelson and three adoring grandchildren.
Alpha was known for her contagious laughter and always had a joke ready to make those around her smile. He had a love for cooking and was famous for his BBQ ribs at family gatherings. He will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, Alpha would have wanted donations to be made to his favorite charity, The Humane Society, in his memory.
Rest in peace, Alpha Byrd. Your memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
