AUBURN — Alyssa Marie Bizefski, 22, of Auburn and formerly of Angola, Indiana passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born on February 9, 1994 in Angola, Indiana to Terry Poquette, Jr. and Jennifer Bizefski Gruner. Alyssa was in the Army National Guard and worked at Menards in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She currently was attending IPFW studying nursing. Surviving are her parents, Jennifer (Kyle) Gruner of Angola, Indiana and Terry (Shannon) Poquette Jr. of Menominee, Michigan; her fiance, Dustin Parr of Auburn; two brothers, Jacob Poquette and Johnathon Poquette of Menominee, Michigan; a sister, Payton Poquette of Menominee, Michigan; and grandparents, Terry (Cheryl) Poquette Sr. of Menominee, Michigan, Gayle Poquette of Reedsville, Wisconson and Lydia Canon of Angola, Indiana; and her two furry children, Ellie and Max. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dennis Canon. Memorial services will be 12 noon, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana with Pastor Mike Cain officiating. Military honors are by the Army National Guard. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials in Alyssa's memory may be made to the Steuben County Humane Society.
