"As you were, you'll always be, treasured forever in our memory"
Alyssa (Fortin) Tetreault, 35, of Griswold, Connecticut, passed away on February 9, 2024, leaving behind a void that cannot be filled. Alyssa was welcomed into the world on July 21, 1988, in Putnam, CT, the daughter of Scott Fortin and Kim Surprenant. Alyssa loved her children more than anything. There was nothing she wouldn't do for them. Her strength, courage and infectious zest for life will always be admired by those that loved her. Alyssa enjoyed music, dancing, adventure, fishing and making others laugh. In recent months, she achieved her dream of building her beloved tiny home, which she was very proud of. Alyssa was a free spirit, lovingly referred to by her family as a "Gypsy Warrior," "Ally" and her most favorite title "Mom." In addition to her parents, Alyssa leaves behind four children, Robert Joseph "RJ" Fitzgerald, Jarrod Jensen, Alaina Jensen and Wyatt Tetreault. She was predeceased by her Paternal Grandfather Joseph E.R. Fortin. Alyssa will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to call her a friend. A memorial service to celebrate Alyssa's life will be held in the upcoming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a mental health and addiction organization of your choice.
