On December 29, 2024, We all lost a bright light with the passing of Alyssa Stanbury. Born on September 12, 2008, Alyssa was the beloved daughter of Emmanuel and Sha'naya Stanbury.

Alyssa was a dedicated student, currently studying in Grade 10 at American Senior High in Miami. She had a passion for learning and was always eager to soak up new knowledge and experiences.

Those who knew Alyssa will remember her infectious smile, kind heart, and unwavering compassion for others. She had a knack for making people feel seen and heard, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Tragically, Alyssa's life was cut short by suicide. While we may never fully understand the depths of her pain, we can take solace in the memories we shared with her and the love she brought into our lives.

Although Alyssa did not have any children of her own, she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
