Alyssha Sharmae Johnson, 38, of Denton was born on December 5, 1983 in McCook, Nebraska to parents Byron Johnson and the late Sharlene Garcia. She grew up in the areas of Hastings and Grand Island Nebraska. Alyssha made many friends in her life and eventually met her husband, Cassidy Voss, in Denison Iowa. They began their life together living in the Greeley, Colorado area. Alyssha worked as a Property Preservation Specialist and would continue working in this field until her untimely death on January 24, 2022.

Alyssha was blessed with a large and loving family. She was a strong matriarch for her children and siblings. She enjoyed spending time with family and traveling. Alyssha was very creative with crafting and spent many hours creating with passion. As a mother she always provided for her children, raising them with patience, discipline and humility. As a provider, she was a hard worker, and a force to be reckoned with. As a sibling, she gave the best advice and always had a shoulder to cry on. As a daughter, she made her parents so proud knowing they raised such a strong woman. Along her journey she made many friends who remember her as the light in the darkness. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and to bring a beautiful smile to brighten the room. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

Alyssha is survived by her husband Cassidy Voss ; her children: Izaziah, Amari, Davon, Quentin, Maliayh, and Malik; her sisters; RaeNiece Johnson and Andrea Johnson Qiann Johnson and step sisters; Keisha and Cassie; her father and step mother; Byron and Janet Johnson. She was preceded in death by her mother Sharlene Garcia and brother Jamelle Johnson.

Funeral services will be held February, 12th 2022 at 10:00 am at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX 72601
