It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amanda Watkins, who was born on December 4, 1974, in Salisbury, North Carolina, United States. Amanda leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and courage.

Amanda was the beloved daughter of Albert Watkins and Ronda Smith. She was a loving and devoted mother to her three children: Whitney Watkins and her spouse Rashad Smith, Zachary Watkins, and KJ Hooper. She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Amanda attended North Rowan High School and graduated in 1993. She had a passion for learning and always had a thirst for knowledge. Her dedication to her education was an inspiration to all who knew her.

On September 14, 2025, Amanda tragically lost her battle with liver disease. She fought bravely until the end, never losing her sense of humor or her love for her family.

Amanda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
