Amelia "Babe" Baker joined our Lord on Monday, March 7, 2016. She died peacefully at the home of her daughter, Florence Lane, in Sunnyvale, Ca, surrounded by family. She was born on June 4, 1914. She lived a long and beautiful life reaching the age of 101 years.She was a homemaker, a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the last surviving charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxillary No 398.As much, as she will be missed, its exciting to know that she will be entering the gates ofheaven to be with her beloved husband, Eugene, grandchildren John Arreola and Lorraine Arreola, her father and mother, Jesus and Juana Corea, brothers Espidiron Corea. SimonCorea, Frank Corea, Raul Martinez, sisters Dolores (Lola) Higgins and Juanita (Jennie) Fernandez.Babe touched many people in her many years on this earth and loved so many with such compassion. She was blessed with a large family, including her daughters, Sylvia (Peter)Arreola, Yuma, Az and Florence (Edward) Lane, Sunnyvale, Ca., her grandchildren Deborah (Brian Vance) Arreola, Yuma, Az, Richard (Diane) Arreola, Gilbert, Az, and Gary (Yoko) Lane, Japan, her brother Porfirio (Dora) Martinez, National City, Ca., Six great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, plus numerous nephews and nieces and had just as many friends.As we all come together, we do so in a celebration of a life so fully lived, loved and full of beauty,Visitation from 5.00PM to 9:00PM, Rosary will be at 7:00PM on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Johnson Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church.
