Ladies and gentlemen, today we gather with heavy hearts to celebrate the life of a young and vibrant soul who has left us too soon. Amirah Henry, a sweet girl who had touched many hearts, has departed from this world at a tender age.
Amirah was born on the 24th of October 2002, in Atlanta, Georgia, to loving parents, Marcus and Sarah Henry. From a very young age, it was evident that Amirah was a bundle of joy, with a beautiful smile and infectious laughter that could light up any room she walked into.
Growing up, Amirah was a sweet and caring girl who loved everyone around her. Whether it was her family, friends, or strangers, she always had an open heart to welcome and love people. She had a passion for music and dance, and she excelled in every performance, captivating the audience with her sheer talent and energy.
Amirah attended Our Lady of Mercy Catholic School, where she was an exemplary student who always went the extra mile to help others. She was involved in several extracurricular activities, including the school choir, cheerleading, and drama club. Her teachers and fellow students describe her as a ray of sunshine, a bright light that shone through the darkness.
Sadly, Amirah's life was cut short on the 6th of February 2023, when she unfortunately suffered from a heart attack . The news of her passing has left her family, friends, and the community shocked and heartbroken.
Today, as we say our final goodbyes to Amirah, we celebrate her life and her impact on the world. Amirah's legacy will live on through the memories she has left behind, the love she has shared, and the lives she has touched.
