Ana Maria IpatziOxnard, CA Ana Maria was born on July 26, 1950 in Chiautempan, Tlaxcala, Mexico. She was the youngest of her sisters out of 8 siblings. She met and married Jose Isabel Ipatzi in 1969 before moving to the United States in 1970 and resided in Oxnard, California. They shared 47 years of marriage together. Settling in Oxnard, California Jose and Ana Maria, both self-employed, started their nursery business together selling potted plants and flowers in various Farmers Market locations throughout the Ventura and Los Angeles county. Their family business today is known as "Ipatzi Nursery" located in Moorpark, CA. She enjoyed working with all types of flowers and had no favorites, she loved them all. She raised 6 children and needed to be tough keeping each one of them busy with school and helping with the family business. She enjoyed cooking her traditional dishes from Mexico. One of her favorite dishes was to cook her chicken mole on birthday celebrations. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and hosted Posadas and enjoyed watching her grandchildren rock the baby Jesus to sleep. She had various family traditions and wanted them to continue year after year. She joins her sister Mercedes Trinidad Perez in heaven.She is survived by her husband Jose Isabel; children Maribel, Jose Jr., Tomas, Adan, Victor, and Benito; daughter in laws Adriana, Angela, and Rita; grandchildren Arturo Jr., Rosamaria, Esteban, Christina, Maricela, Deanna, and Kaleb. A celebration of Ana Maria's life will be held at Garcia Mortuary located at 629 South A Street, Oxnard. Viewing is scheduled on Sunday, May 21st starting at noon and services will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Church services held on Monday, May 22nd at 9:30am at our Lady of Guadalupe Church, located at 530 N. Juanita Ave, Oxnard. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery located at 2370 N.
