Anastacio A (Chaflan) Marquez Jr., 68, passed on May 26, 2021. He was born to Anastacio Marquez Sr. and Rita Marquez in Lordsburg, New Mexico on May 28, 1953.
He married Stella Marquez in 1974 and they lived together in Redlands, California. Together they raised 4 children Anastacio (Anthony) Fuentes Marquez Jr., Danny Ray Fuentes Marquez, Joseph Sonny Fuentes Marquez & Joseph's Wife Christina Sanchez Marquez, Sandra Renee Fuentes Marquez. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Anastacio graduated from Redlands High School in 1972.
Anastacio worked at Transportation and Customs until he retired in 1983 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. In 1981, Anastacio was honored with the Certificate Of Achievement.
Staff Sergeant Marquez Jr. served his country for 10 years as a Transportation and Customs in the United States Army.
