Andrew was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 11, 1992, a son of Dana Johnson and Kristi K. (Roach) Johnson.

NuNu was a highly talented writer of poetry and music. He was an excellent singer, and in his spare time, he enjoyed cutting hair. Of all the things NuNu enjoyed, spending time with his two daughters was what he loved most. Andrew was strong and loving and would always be found helping others; even in death, he extended life to others through organ donation.

Those left to cherish NuNu's memory include his two daughters, Aliyah and Amiyah Johnson, and their two brothers whom he considered his own, Brylen and David Orley; his parents, Kristi Johnson of Greenwood and Dana Johnson of Indianapolis; his brother, Austin Johnson of Greenwood; his sister, Ashlyn Johnson of Greenwood; two nephews, Uriah Jeffrey and Weston Asbery; his grandma, Sondra Deloris McKenney "Mee Mee" of Indianapolis, and many aunts, uncles, step siblings and cousins.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Manson McKenney and Vernon Johnson; a grandmother, Ollie Clontz, and by a cousin, Hayley Navarra.
