We’re sad to share the sudden, unexpected passing of Andrew on Monday 12/8/25 at the age of 51 in Elkton Maryland. Andrew will be greatly missed by many who loved him. Andrew was a devoted father to his daughter Erika Woodin. He was her constant cheerleader and best friend. He was hard-working and most proud of his time of service in the Army and his fight for our country in Desert Storm. He was an avid fan of his Green Bay Packers and always proud to sport his jersey. Andrew was a jack of many trades and could tinker himself through just about anything. He had a direct approach to life, a sense of humor for all occasions and an infectious laugh that was immediately recognized when you walked in a room. He was loud, wanted to be heard and was the life of all parties. Not a shy one by any means of the word and he never met a stranger.
Andrew was born on 4/6/74 in Hialeah Florida and moved out to west Texas in 1979 with the entire Wheeler, Woodin family. Andrew grew up being his little brother Johns protector and the proud son of his father Paul A. Woodin. Andrew was preceded in death by his brother John Woodin, his father Paul A. Woodin, Mother Nancy L. Wheeler, grandparents, Walter E. Wheeler and Juantia T. Wheeler, Bob A. Woodin and Cora Woodin
Andrew leaves behind his beloved daughter Erika Woodin who hung his moon, sisters Eva Middleton and Adriene Sims and several very dear friends. Family, friends, and everyone who knew Andrew will miss him deeply.
We’ll gather to celebrate Andrew’s life at a later date, so we have time to make the delicate arrangements for a Veterans Memorial Service/Internment.
Andrews’s spirit will stay with us always. May he rest in peace. We love you.
You can to the family or in memory of Andrew Woodin.
