Andrew C. MartinAGE: 78 • GlendoraAndrew C. Martin, of Glendora, NJ, passed away from this world on November 10, 2016, after a fight to the end with lung cancer. Age 78. He lived life his way and we're all wiser from his no-nonsense approach to living. He was blessed to have his siblings at his side to support him through his last days. He was born to Elizabeth and Andrew Martin on March 3, 1938 in Kingston, PA. As one of 10 children, he learned the value of thriftiness and taught his grandchildren how to be trendy shopping at Goodwill. He lived part of the year in AZ with his daughter, Cindi Elizabeth Reiss, son-in-law Joshua, and grandchildren Erik Berl, Jennifer Elke, and Andrea Beth. Jennifer and her husband, Greg Frappier gave him his first great grandson, Logan Andrew and three years later, Gracie Elizabeth was born on great grandpop's birthday. He was "Handy Andy", fixing whatever needed fixing and pulling a "Rube Goldberg" if Plan A didn't work. He retired from the Philadelphia Shipyard in 1993. He is predeceased by his parents, brothers Larry, Steve, and Floyd, and his sister Betty. Andrew is survived by his daughter and her family, sisters Ann, Janis, and Julie, brothers George and Bobby, sisters-in-law Colleen and Harriet, brother-in-law John, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family in NJ and AZ.
