Andy Horn, 80, of Cottonwood, California, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California. Andy was born to Herman and Elizabeth Horn, on January 07, 1940 in French Camp, California. He married his best friend and the love of his life, Dee Horn on August 28, 1960, and later had two children, Jeff and Kori. Andy worked as an engineer with Contel phone company in Manteca, California for many years and eventually transferred to Weaverville, California where he retired. He and his wife Dee ultimately moved to Cottonwood, California where they built their home together. Andy had a love for street rods like no other and was a founding member of the Golden Valley Street Rodders for many years. He loved to spend his free time working on street rods, working around the house, and spending time with his family. He always had a story waiting for you, followed by that smile and laugh he loved to show off. Andy was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Andy is survived by his wife, Dee Horn: his son, Jeff Horn (Marilyn Horn): his brother, Pat Horn (Dee Horn): his six grandchildren, Sarah Bailey, Drew Bailey (Deidra Bailey), Darren Bailey (Rachel Bailey), Drake Bailey (Haley Bailey), Chanel Horn and Scot Horn: and his ten great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Helen Beasley and his daughter, Kori Brown.
