Lorilee Jean Thompson, 59, of Marshall, Minnesota, passed Thursday, August 01, 2019 at her home, after a three year battle with cancer. Lorilee was born to Viskar and Grace (Sanford) Thompson, June 03, 1960.
Lorilee graduated from Marshall High School in 1978. After graduation, Lorilee began working at Wells Fargo, where she worked until 2002. Lorilee then began working at Meta Bank, where she worked until she retired in 2017.
Lorilee was passionate about making jewelry. Lorilee participated in and attended many craft shows with her friends and family. Lorilee also enjoyed traveling. In the last year, Lorilee was able to visit four countries she had never been to. Lorilee’s biggest passion, however, was cheering on her kids and grandkids at their sporting events, where she was known to be the loudest supporter in the room.
Lorilee is survived by 4 children: Sheena (Tom) Havard, Matthew (Casandra) Mann, Dalton (Morgan) Van Heelan, and Natasha (Leetoria) Combs. She also is survived by her mother Grace Thompson, her sisters Linda and Gayle Thompson, 8 grandchildren, cousins, and special friends David Johnston and April Snider. Lorilee is proceeded in death by her father, Viskar Thompson, her two brothers Kurt and Leroy Thompson, and her son Travis Thompson.
A private service will be held Monday, August 05, 2019.
