Andrew Teddy Vallejo Obituary
Nov 17, 1983 - Jan 08, 2013
This obituary is administered by:
Andrew Teddy Vallejo (Drew) Last Rainbow shinned brightly for him on October 8, 2013. When God chose him to come home and stand beside him and join his grandma's and grandpa's and one of his best companions "Dre" his brindle boxer .He was born on November 17th 1983 to John and Tina Vallejo of Juneau Alaska. He grew up very closely to his sister Tammy Owens of Helena, Montana and brother Anthony Vallejo of Juneau, Alaska whom he loved and cherished, their bond as brother and sister was very strong. He also grew very close to his nieces and nephews Jade, Aden, Alandra, Hayen, Jacob and Dylan. He will forever be known to them as "Uncle". Andrew was born raised and spent most of his life in Juneau. When Andrew was born he was two months premature and weighted only 5 lbs 9 oz. he barely fit into his fathers hands. Before being medivaced to Anchorage we were comforted and honored by the blessing and baptism of Andrew by the Holy Bishop Michael Kenny. Andrew was truly larger than life itself. He had the ability to become lasting friends with all he had met. His smile and dimples lit up any room he walked in.His network of friends are more than ever imagined. He touched a lot of lives with his kind and caring heart. A gentle giant that cared and protected those he loved. Although Andrew did not have kids of his own, that never stopped him from loving and caring not only for his numerous nieces and nephews but for all of his friends that had kids. He loved spending time with them, taking them to beach, park, swimming pool and absolutely loved teasing them. Andrew worked at various jobs through out his life but mostly worked along side his dad at various restaurants as a cook and manager. He started his career at 7 years old when he bussed tables at his mom and dads restaurant "T J's" in downtown Juneau.Andrew will be unbelievably missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Like the poem "Don't Grieve for Me", Andrew would have wanted us all to celebrate his Life with the Joy and Happiness he had shared with all of us. He loved having a good time, one of his favorite things to do was to simply be with his cousins and close friends, just hanging out having a great time, as his cousins Shakira, Crystal, Kale, Jeffery, Sabrina, Tati and Danielle can tell you. He was the life and fun of their party. He loved them and talked about their "adventures" often to his mom and dad while most of the time shaking their heads in disbelief but comforted knowing he was with family and good friends who all loved him. Andrews life was short but he left a lasting impression on all who have known him. He will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts. His Eternal Rainbow will Shine Forever. We will miss you Andrew and will wait for the day we will see you again. God bless you, we love you.Andrew's services will be held October 17, 2013 Thursday 4:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church 9055 Atlin Dr. Juneau, Alaska. A celebration "Potluck" will immediately follow. You are welcome to bring a dish to share. Andrew has a memorial account in his name set up at Wells Fargo (Acct # 5565406385) if you would like to donate to help with the families expenses. The family would like to thank everyone for their continued support and assistance through this difficult time. Thank you - Gunalchéesh
