Ang Seu Sek, 83, passed on October 17, 2020. Ang was born in Poi Pet, Cambodia on January 15, 1937. Ang was a very loving and caring man. Ang has five children Chan sek, Khea sek, Kevin sek, Chumraun sek, Chumrong sek. He loved to cook and garden, he enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Ang was the kind of man that sacrificed many things for the people he loved. During the pol pot regime or also known as the Khmer rouge, they lived under strict rules and had very little to eat. One night Ang seen that his children were starving and had no food to eat he risked it going to harvest the wild rice and vegetables for his family to eat knowing the consequences he will have to face if he were to get caught. Ang did indeed get caught and was tied to a land post and was beaten for three days and three night and had red fire ants crawling all over his body some crawled into his ears. after those three days he was released and he crawled all the way home. He was always loving and caring to all his friends and family, he never hesitated to help. In 1981 Ang and his family then immigrated to the United States and lived in Texas but then moved to Minnesota where Ang lived until his last days. Ang will be missed dearly and loved by his family and friends.
