It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelica Gonzalez, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, who departed this life on October 29, 2024, at the age of 37. Angelica died shortly after the birth of her first daughter, a precious life she brought into the world with boundless love.

Born on June 10, 1987, Angelica was a cherished member of the Alexandria community, known for her warmth, kindness, and the infectious laughter that brightened every room she entered. She lived with a deep sense of compassion and an unmatched zest for life, always eager for new adventures and experiences. Her radiant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering support made her an inspiration to all who had the honor of knowing her.

Angelica’s family was her greatest joy, and she was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Mario Gonzalez, and a deeply devoted daughter to her parents, Criselda Dominguez and Luis Dominguez. She is also survived by her two beloved sisters, Abril Dominguez and Lupita Dominguez.

Angelica’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have crossed her path. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special and loved, and her memory will be forever etched in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.

A celebration of Angelica's life will be held at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home in Alexandria, Virginia, on November 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sophia’s Charity, to honor Angelica’s spirit of generosity and love.
