CHATHAM, VA - Angelina Claville Zeitz, age 86, entered into rest on November 20, 2016 at Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville, VA. She was born on June 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Leslie Drew Claville and the late Alma Estelle Wade Claville. She worked at Fort Eustis Army Base in Newport News, VA until her marriage to Louis Anthony Zeitz, when she moved to Clarksville, VA. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Purser (Grifton, NC); three grandchildren: Cassandra E. Smith and husband, John D. Harris (Chatham, VA), Jason Eli Brown and wife, Laura Macintosh- Brown (Newport News, VA), and Michael T. Brown (Kinston, NC); five great grandchildren and nephews: Gary S. Claville (Tampa, FL) and Leslie M. Claville (Covington, GA). A memorial gathering will occur on December 10th at Higher Ground Farms, 648 Strader Road, Chatham, VA 24531.
