Anita Gough, 89, of Paris, KY, passed away on August 18, 2021 at 10:45 A.M. in St. Petersburg, FL. Anita was born on September 12, 1931. She was a charter member of Paris Christian Church and Lakeside Christian Church where she retired in 1998 after more than 40 years as the secretary and human resources. Mrs. Gough was also a Sunday School Teacher with the church for more than 50 years and a choir member as well. Anita volunteered her time both in Northern Kentucky as well as the St. Petersburg area. Both at the Arnoff Center (Cincinnati) and the Sunken Gardens (St. Petersburg) She was a member of the Lakeside Travelers. Her husband John K. Gough preceded her in death in March of 1969. She never remarried after losing her high school sweetheart. Surviving are her two daughters, Robyn Mae (Tom) Mathers of Lexington, KY and Joni Kelly (Paul) Seta of Cincinnati, OH. Three grandchildren John and Jordan Seta, Tom Mathers Jr. A visitation will take place August 27, 2021 from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the residence of Mrs. Gough in Pass-a-Grille Beach. Memorial services will take place the following day a 10 A.M. on August 28. 2021 at the 13th Street Beach access on Pass-a-Grille Beach. A memorial service for friends and family unable to travel will follow at a later time in Northern Kentucky. Mrs. Goughs wishes are for her ashes to be left in the two places she loved most. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Suncoast Hospice of St. Petersburg, FL or think of Anita and do something special for a friend or complete stranger, visit a park, zoo, or musuem, buy and fill a bird feeder, take a friend and bet the ponies at the race track or just lay on the beach with a good book and a cold drink
