Anita F. Lura1940 - 2014Anita F. Lura, 73, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on Saturday March 8, 2014, at St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee. Anita was born on June 21, 1940, in Kenosha, Wis., the daughter of the late Allan and Alice (Pincombe) Standridge. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Anita married Jim Lura on Aug. 27, 1960 in Kenosha. She was employed as a cosmetologist for many years. Anita was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Kenosha. Anita was also a member of the Ski Trax Club. Her hobbies included traveling, swimming, skiing, ice skating, bicycling, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Jim Lura of Pleasant Prairie; her son, Jeff Lura of Fullerton, Calif.; a brother, Allan (Tina) Standridge Jr.; and a sister, Amy (Rick) Cermak of Racine. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 5-7 p.m. with funeral services to be held on Thursday March 13, 2014, at First United Methodist Church, 919 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53140, at 10 a.m. Burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
