Ann Volta, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024, in her home in New Roads, Louisiana, United States. She was born on July 29, 1932, to the late Ferman and Mary Edith Jacque DeRogers.

Ann was the loving partner of Russell Volta and together they raised three wonderful children: Sandra Volta Sneed (spouse David - deceased), Edith Volta Smothers (spouse Welton), and Monica Volta Bergeron. She adored her four grandchildren who brought so much joy and laughter into her life.

Ann dedicated her career to working in the healthcare industry, where she made a positive impact on the lives of many patients and colleagues. Her compassion and kindness were evident in all aspects of her life, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Ann's family and friends will always remember her warm smile, gentle nature, and unwavering love. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
