Cravillion, Sister Ann (Janice), OSFSister Ann (Janice) Cravillion, OSF, age 78, a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross, died Monday, February 6, 2017 at Woodside Lutheran Home.Janice Marie Cravillion was born on October 25, 1938 in New Franken, WI, daughter of Henry and Helen (Schauer) Cravillion. She entered the convent in 1958, professed her vows in 1960 and celebrated her Golden Jubilee in 2008.Sister Ann was a licensed practical nurse and an ortho-bionomy/craniosacral therapist. She served as a nurse at the McCormick Home, St. Mary and Bellin Hospitals, Grancare Nursing Center, and the St. Francis Convent Motherhouse. She served her Sisters as a homemaker at St. Jude and various other communities where the Sisters did not have a resident homemaker. Sister also served in Community service at the Motherhouse after retirement.Sister Ann was happy in nursing ministry and helping people through alternative medicine. She was especially grateful for the opportunity to live with her parents and be of service to them in the last years of their lives. Sister enjoyed fishing with friends, playing cards and being of service to others in her retirement years. She continued her mission at the nursing home through her warm smile, her concern for others and her gratitude for each act of kindness shown to her. Survivors include the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross and their Associates; brothers and sisters-in-law: Darrel (Betty), Jim, Tom (Sue); sister: Bonnie Blaney; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.Preceding her in death were her parents: Henry and Helen; brothers and sisters-in-law: Glen (Marge), Lyle (Lois), Bob (Darlene); brother-in-law: George Blaney. Friends may call at St. Francis Convent, 3110 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay on Friday, February 10 at 4:00 p.m. for the reception of the body with visitation to follow. The Vigil Service will be at 6:30 p.m. Visitation for Sister Ann will continue on Saturday, February 11 at Holy Cross Church, 3009 Bay Settlement Road, from 9:00-10:00 until the Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 with Reverend John Van Deuren as presider.
