Ann ForresterFeb. 6, 1925 - Dec. 16, 2015Ann Forrester, 90, of Emmett, Idaho, passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on December 16, 2015.Ann was born on February 6th 1925 in Etowah, Tennessee. She grew up in Tennessee and met her husband, Vern Forrester there. After they were married they migrated west and ended up in Idaho. They resided at Mesa and later moved to Emmett, Idaho where Vern's parents lived. They were married 58 years and raised three boys, Robert, Dave, and Steve. As a family they loved camping, fishing, and rock hunting. Ann's favorite of course was fishing.For several years, Ann ran crews for Sanders Fruit Orchard while Vern was manager. She started cooking at the nursing home near the hospital in Emmett. She loved to cook and said the folks enjoyed her meals. After they both retired they became snow birds and spent half the year in Quartsite, Arizona. She really enjoyed learning to dance and they played a lot of cards, also one of her favorites. She really enjoyed life and always wanted to visit.Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Vern, her husband, and Robert her first son.She is survived by her sons, David (Patty) Forrester of Meridan ID, Steve (Cindy) Forrester of Cheyenne, WY; her granddaughters, Kim Forrester and Jamie Medley; her grandson, Jason Forrester; and three great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett on Tuesday, December 22nd, at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel.
