OTTAWA - Age 91, died on Saturday January 2, 2016 at Pleasant View. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Oak Grove Cemetery in LeRoy, with Rev. David Kipfer, Pastor of Saint Columba Church in Ottawa, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa, with Liturgical prayers at 3:45 p.m. Ann was born on March 15, 1924, in Chicago, to Stephen and Helen Ross. She married Charles H. Roby on May 22, 1943, in Chicago. Ann worked as a clerk at Walgreens for 32 years. She was a member of St. Columba Church and the St. Anne’s Society in Chicago. Ann was an avid knitter and quilter. She is survived by 2 sons, Charles (Sandra) Roby, of Cherokee Village, AR and Don Roby, of Ottawa, 5 grandchildren Stacey (Lupe) Aguirre, Charles, Jennifer, Kristine, and Donnie Roby, 2 step grandchildren, Doug and Mandy Draper, and 5 great grandchildren, Rey, Olivia, Marshall, Emily, and Peyton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 2003, 2 sons Robert J. and Richard E. Roby, a brother John Ross, and a sister, Mary Gallas. Memorials may be directed to the family.
