Ann L. ThorbahnOAK HARBOR: Ann L. Thorbahn, 82, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. She was born on December 25, 1934 in Marysville, MI. On November 17, 1962 in Oak Harbor she married Marvin J. Thorbahn, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1998. Ann worked for the Erie-Army Depot until they closed and then as a homemaker for her family. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor and a past PTA leader for Carroll Township Schools. Ann loved animals, especially bird watching. She especially enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports.Ann is survived by her daughters, Marcia L. (Dennis) Behlmer and Linda S. (David) Vargo, sons, Michael J. Thorbahn and Mark A. (Tanya) Thorbahn, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Henretty, husband, and aunts & uncles.Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. Funeral services for Ann will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. Interment will follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions in memory of Ann may be given to Mid-County E.M.S. or Stein Hospice, Sandusky.
