Anna Marie Kauffer died August 10 she was 89. Born in Drumore, PA she was the daughter of the late Haines & Ruth Brown and Mary (Booth) Long and wife of the late Junior Kauffer, who passed in 2011. Mrs. Kauffer has previously worked for Bata Shoe Co. and went on to retire from the Harford County Board of Education, having worked at Meadowvale Elementary School. A member of EPIC Community Church she loved helping others and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Keithley and husband Donny of Aberdeen; brothers, Frank Black of New Holland, PA and David Johnson of Nazareth, PA; sisters, Dorothy Riggs of New Providence, PA, Sandra Johnson of Columbia, MD and Carol Lang of Malibu, CA; grandchildren, Bryan and George Kauffer, Chris Waye, Monica Woodson, Laurie and Amy Kauffer, Courtney Collins and Carla Hoeck, 12 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sons, George and Victor Kauffer. A memorial service conducted by Pastor Brian Watts will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Monday August 14 at 12:00pm where a visitation will follow until 3:00pm.
