Anna was born on January 11, 1959, in Santa Barbara, California to Pauline Padilla-Jaramillo. She grew up and went to school in Santa Barbara, California. She met the love of her life, Mark Allen Mendoza, Sr. in 1975 and together they moved to Visalia, California in 1976 and started their family. Together they had six children: Paul Anthony, Elena Yvonne, Elaine Marie, Mark Allen, Angel Naomi, and Hannah Angel. Anna worked as a care provider for disabled adults and in her spare time loved making wedding decorations and decorating for various events. She went back to school and obtained her high school diploma, alongside her daughter Elaine, from the Visalia Adult School in 2003. She lived her life for her children and grandchildren. Throughout her life, she was known for being a very strong woman of faith and witnessed to many "souls" as she would call it. She had a heart of gold, teaching her children to never give up on anything that they believed in. Anna is survived by her husband, Mark Allen Mendoza, Sr. of Visalia; daughters, Elaine Marie Mendoza-Torres and husband David of Visalia/Madera; Hannah Angel Mendoza of Visalia; sons Paul Anthony Mendoza of Visalia; Mark Allen Mendoza, Jr. and wife Lisa of Visalia; brothers Johnny Ornelas of Santa Barbara; Thomas Ornelas of Santa Barbara and Arturo Ornelas of Santa Barbara/Visalia, 13 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Anna is preceded in death by her daughters Elena Yvonne Mendoza and Angel Naomi Mendoza; mother Pauline Padilla-Jaramillo, brothers Vincent Edward Ornelas, Paul Ornelas, Stevie Ornelas; sisters Rosie Castillo and Rachel Ornelas-Montoya. Viewing and visitation will be between 4-7pm on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10am at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be offered at
