On May 20, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul, Anna Lucas, who passed away at the age of 92 in Washington DC, Washington, D.C., United States. She was born on February 1, 1932, to her late parents Earl and Barbra Greene.

Anna was a loving wife to her late husband James Lucas, whom she married in 1950. Together, they raised three wonderful children - James Lucas Jr, Rita Lucas, and Anthony Lucas with spouse Carmen Ellis.

Anna was a proud grandmother to two grandchildren, bringing her immense joy and love throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to being a dedicated mother and grandmother, Anna had many passions in life. She particularly enjoyed sowing, spending hours creating beautiful pieces of art that will be cherished by her family for generations to come.
